Combining love of nature and naturalness with a passion for the art of baking results in a delicious creation. We apply craftsmanship to the best untreated and unmodified raw materials to make wafer and chocolate specialities that are appreciated for their fresh, crisp taste, their delicate creams and their fi ne chocolate. It was over 85 years ago that our family fi rm started up in the little confectionery shop of grandfather Alfons Loacker in Bolzano. To this day we have been true to our ideal. In manufacturing our products in the heart of the Italian Alps, the Dolomites 1,000 metres above sea level, we focus unerringly on what is the most important thing for us: the naturalnessand pure quality of our products. It is not without cause that the
symbol of nature that appears in the trademark and on every Loacker pack is our “home mountain”, the Sciliar.
“Take the best – untreated and free of additives!” What makes Loacker so irresistible and successful the world over calls for a great deal of experience. We go about selecting the ingredients with devotion and an unerring eye: fi nest italian hazelnuts, freshly roasted by Loacker, real “Bourbon” vanilla pods, savoury aromatic cocoa from the Gold Coast of Africa, tenderly melting Loacker chocolate, the best quality milk from the Alps and fresh mountain water. We, too, are invariably enticed by the fi ne ingredients from all over the world. The result: new compositions with crispy wafers and chocolate baked in the family tradition.
